Tokyo based design Yohji Yamamoto is passionate about on-trend and superbly crafted footwear. As the mastermind behind the Y3 collective, Yohji has shaped the landscape of footwear, creating genre-defining sneaks that are hugely sought-after.
Building upon that success, this Y3 lands in an all new construct. A one-piece upper features both mesh and neoprene for the perfect mix of comfort and durability. It’s unbelievably lightweight, feeling more like a second skin that obtrusive sneaker.
To compliment that soft upper, rigid overlays of leather bring some support while synthetic overlays at the toe act as a mudguard. The latter features in cargo green, a subtle contrast against the white upper.
To complete this design, a low-profile midsole sits underfoot but extends high through to the shoe in a split white and black construct. Deep grooves bring that adaptive stride, a feature borrowed from the most impressive adidas silhouettes. To complete the look, an oversized Y3 motif is stamped on the heel.
The Y3 Future Low White Black is scheduled to release on Monday 12th December via the retailers listed.
